Background

An expanding mining operation needed site offices, a control room and welfare space that could move as the pit developed.

Challenge

A footprint that was expected to change within three years, and a long inland freight route with limited lifting equipment on site.

Solution

Flatpack relocatable units configured as offices and welfare facilities, packed flat for freight and assembled by a small crew.

Result

Facilities in service and subsequently relocated once as the operation expanded, without replacement buildings.
